Wardrobe for your eyes

Get yourself a wardrobe of eye colors. After all you wouldn’t dream of wearing the same clothes every day, would you?

Colors, colors – they’ll surprise you, shock you and astonish you. The tint of your eye shadow need not be determined by the color of your eyes. If you have those big blue eyes, then it’s not necessary that you sport the same shade of eye shadow.

Hey girl! Go wild, get wacky. Experiment with different hues and see someone’s heart melt when you flash that look of yours.

During the day keep to the more muted colors. Remember, blues and green are not natural, they stand out. So they are more apt for the nocturnal times. Earth colors such as terracotta, brown, mushroom and gray are much softer and they emphasize the eye in a very subtle way and are perfect for the day.

There are shadows, highlighters, eyeliners, mascaras and various pencils for shadowing, for browns, and lining the inner eye-lid. The choice is enormous but if you want really super eye make-up that will last through your day, there are a few basic rules to remember.

Cream, liquid, pencil and tube eye shadows should all be applied after foundation but before powdering. Apart from pencils, apply the colors with brush all the way to the roots of the lashes. Blend it over the lid or wherever it suits you, and fade away the edges with a brush or your fingertip. Carry a little of the colors around the corner of your eyes. Set the make-up with powder.

Soften pencils with a little foundation dotted on the back of your hand to stop them pulling the skin and make them go on smoothly. Well, these were a few tips on how to make those eyes look gorgeous. So add a dash of color and see those eyes sparkle and shine.
