Lal Tibba propounded the panoramic view of Mussoorie

Lal Tibba is the highest point in Mussoorie and certainly one of the most stunning places you can ever visit. Lal Tibba or the Red Hill, as it literally means in the local language. Broadcasting stations or towers of All India Radio and Doordarshan are situated at top of Lal Tibba.

This site was earlier known as Depot Hill, owing to the presence of a convalescent depot in the region.

The point is provided with a Japanese telescope that offers a panoramic view of the adjoining areas that are dotted with many old colonial buildings. Kedarnath, Badrinath, Bandarpunch and other Himalayan ranges can be clearly viewed from here with the aid of the telescope. “
